Reflection: I think overall our presentation went well. Our video has much more detail but we were trying to show the ease of use of MindMeister to the class through our interactive activity. As a brainstorming tool, MindMeister was shown to be quite effective, similar to a Jamboard activity, where everyone has access and put their ideas on the big screen anonymously. Special care will need to be taken in a high school class, where students are likely, nay guaranteed, to put up stupid joke answers to make their classmates laugh. That said, there are many other uses for MindMeister that we talked about. My contribution to this group provided a lens to see the humanities through MindMeister, whereas the rest of the group comes from a science perspective. I think the most important part that we tried to convey with our presentation on MindMeister is how it can be used in many, if not all, courses and subject areas.
