Patience is a virtue! 30 students attempting to launch their webpages all at once tends to clog up the server…I assume. Either way, it’s going in full force now! Check back for reflections. I enjoyed getting to help others get their website going while mine went FAIRLY seamlessly. That said, almost everyone had a different issue in getting this part of the course moving, so it was a bit of a challenge to figure out exactly what each person’s problem was. We all learn from frustration.

I am excited to get customizing and make this site my own. Some of the work may become tedious as I try to get each photo and piece of text into my favourite spot. Regardless, making an accessible, easy-to-use website is a great tool for providing information to students in a remote way. Resources can be posted if hard copies aren’t available, announcements can be made in a timely matter to get students prepared before class, rather than during. Technology is fun!
