It was a great way to finish this course seeing all my peers’ tech presentations! Some important inquiries were made from a multitude of issues, resources and perspectives in regards to technology in classrooms. Nishant and Co.’s song was one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen and raised some terrific points about AI and songwriting. Sean, Julia, Sienna, and Emma-June showed a great whiteboard resource that I could very well see myself using in my career. Aeryn and Friends showed how important inclusion and equity are in the classroom when thinking about using tech. Hanna and her group showed the pros and cons of google classrooms and other online learning systems. The bio/PHE team showed us a fantastic app to display human movement without the need for real-life models. And, of course the greatest of them all, our “Science and Jeff” group provided MindMeister as an amazing brainstorming and mind mapping app. I hope I didn’t leave anyone out but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the culmination of each pod’s work and it gave a great pool of usable, tangible resources for us as future educators. Hat’s off to all!
As we wrap up this semester, I want to give thanks to Guillaume for his presentation of a terrific course. The atmosphere was relaxed but informative and it was quite possibly the easiest class for me to motivate myself to attend and become engaged. I truly learned a lot about how use technological resources, both fairly and effectively. Best of luck to all my colleagues moving forward!
